My brain is a sieve

Cause I never remember to do things like promo at all, I swear.  I always want to do guest posts places but 1) I am shockingly shy about asking. I always feel like I’m being presumptuous or a bother. It’s dumb, I know, but the feeling persists. But mostly 2) I get so wrapped up in work and all, I just forget to ask in time to be able to do it. I am going to try for With Pridesince I am really proud of my Princes of the Blood and it seems to be doing well.

There is a blog post coming on my blog this week for Of Last Resort. Right now it’s about six paragraphs of rambling. Which this will turn into if I don’t stop ;3

cometome

Come to Me is, obviously, a short little follow up to Black Magic. Much love to those who have already read it. As I’ve said before, it really was meant to be just a short smutty bit. But some characters are more inclined toward that than others. Sorin and Koray mostly like just like being dumb (now, my dragons from Dance verse. That group has always been inclined toward smut. Like, I don’t even have to work hard to make them strip down).

The official link for Come to Me, and of course it’s at all the usual suspects.

Suitable Replacement

Since I already have a post specifically for OLR, I will not add that here, but I will add that for serial peeps, A Suitable Replacement starts this coming week. It’s been a long time since I’ve done anything in Deceived verse. This particular story ties to none of them. It was an aggravating story to write, at points, because I meant for it to be a short, cute thing where they sort of fumble stupidly around town for a little while. But it kept going, and in unplanned directions. But I don’t think my editor hated (it was hard to tell, she kept yelling :3 :3 :3) so I hope peeps enjoy ^___^

trrimage

I am joining in this to give away a copy of … um … The Engineered Throne or Of Last Resort. I don’t remember which. Fail, self /o\

Anyway, there seems to be a lot of other shiny authors involved. I always feel weird doing stuff like this. Again, because I feel like i’m intruding (I think there’s a name for this, Sasha was telling me about it one day). Plus, fantasy is such a small section of Romance, so I feel weird next to all the contemporary books and such. I’m aware 99.9% of this is in my head, but that never really helps.

In writing news, I am as usual trying to work myself to death. I started out this year with a manageable to do list and now it’s exploded and I kind of just lay on the floor and whimper. But long time readers of our Fairytales Slashed serial will be seeing a new fairytale from me in a few months, working title The Raven and the Sorcerer. Going to do something I don’t think I’ve done before. Also in fairytale news, The Broken Forest has been officially handed over to Samantha for editing. Once I have a release date for that (and Pack, Lukos Heat, and Looking for More) I will let you know them. I am fond of Broken Forest, it’s cute and fun and the kind of fluffy stuff I have not gotten to write in a while. Speaking of Lukos Heat, that has been revised and about six thousand words added. I think those dragons may be some of my best work.

And for those that liked Backwoods Asylum, I am writing another story in that verse. It’s actually a charity story, meant to be about 10k, but the prompt is for something that will take more than that to do well (twincest and threesome). It’s about twin rabbit shifters and a duck shifter, and because I’m 5 the working title is Rabbit Season.

I am also working on more Wriggle & Sparkle and of course slowly picking away at The High King’s Golden Tongue, which when done will be somewhere in the 80-100k range. Clan Mordred is still in there as well, and a second charity story I really need to get to, and that person requested I do one of a few ideas she had for Engineered Throne.

Busy busy busy.

I also have some recs, hopefully will manage to finally get those up this coming Friday.

Before I forget again, wanted to extend all of the warm and fuzzy thank yous to those who have been enjoying the audiobooks. I have gotten many emails and comments, I’m so very happy to hear that people are enjoying them. I forward compliments on the voice acting to Red Planet, since I’m sure they like hearing them too, and seriously, those guys kill it ^__^ If you have seen them, in audition to mine, there are three other audibooks out now for Saving Liam, Finding the Wolf, and Dragon Slayer. Check them out!

Now it’s time for more coffee and back to transcribing. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend!
