Travel Books

So as mentioned in a previous post, Sasha and I are heading up to New York to see her family (who are not in one place, but all over the damned state). With that in mind, I have been hoarding books for some time in preperation. Audiobooks for the car, and ebooks for the locations because I don’t sleep well on the best of days and I sleep even less in strange places.

And since I like sharing, and it’s been a pretty miserable time in our neck of the woods lately, here are my shinies (and pending shinies)

THE AUDIOBOOKS

I’ve been holding on to Dead Man’s Reach for ages because I love love this series, I adore the audios, but I haven’t had a chance to listen since I suck at audio unless I’m doing something like driving. But we’ll probably listen to the other two first since Sasha is behind on the Thieftaker series. Carry On is a great book, I’ve already read it like three times, and I have it from a reliable source that the audiobook is fantastic. And of course I loved the movie for The Martian and everyone tells me the audiobook is even better.

THE EBOOKS

I actually have more of these than I will torture you with (there was a site giving away piles of fantasy books for free or .99 so my TBR tripled in like the span of ten minutes, whoops). But the highlights of my carefully hoarded pile:

Yay, books ^___^ What’s everyone else reading/looking forward to reading?

Hope you’re having a good week, or that it improves! <3 <3 <3

  1. Well, I’m reading Midnight, High King, and Saving Liam :p Midnight goes w/ me places, and High King and Saving Liam I save for home. Once I’m done with those, I’m looking forward to reading A Court of Thorns and Roses and The Fog Diver!
